info@philippinejury .com.

  • Is there someone in the area I can contact like a member?

It depends where you are currently based.  We will organise for a member to contact you.

  • What are the benefits of being a member of WPJI?

The benefits are not monetary or material.  It is derived from the personal satisfaction that you were one of those who dedicated their life on the betterment of their country.

  • Will my rights be affected if I sign the petition?

Our petition is a formal written request by the people to pass a law, the National Jury Law.  After the collection of several signatures, one of which is yours, the petition goes to the COMELEC for authentication and verification.  A National Referendum then follows where majority of the Filipino registered voters will be asked if they are in favour of the National Jury Law.  Signing a petition is your legal right.

  • I am abroad, can I still sign the petition?

It is unlikely that you will be asked to sign the petition due to practicality.  Collection of signatures has to be done where there are hundreds of signatories.  However, you can encourage your friends and relations to sign the petition where or when ever it is organized.

  • I want to help but I am not good in explaining what Jury is.

Each of us has our own natural talent!  Public speaking may not be yours but chatting with friends about Jury System may be your hidden talent.

  • I am not a Filipino at all but want to help.

Our spouses are not Filipinos but they help because they care about our cause which is towards a just and righteous Philippines.

  • If I want to form a group in my area, can you help me talk about WPJI and the Jury?  Can it be done online?

Of course, you may. If there is a will, there’s a way!  Just contact us for assistance.  Online chat or conferencing is now very common.

  • How do you know Jury System will work for Filipinos?

Many politicians and lawyers will tell you that it will not work.  Many of them are now agreeing to the possibility that it will work for the Filipinos.  It will take time, but time is on our side.  The Jury System has been practised in USA for hundreds of years until the present.  It has kept America strong and stable.  Our constitution is similar to theirs except for the omission of the Jury System.  If it worked for them, it should work for us.

  • Would I be in danger for supporting the campaign for Jury System?

Everyday when you cross the road, there is a risk of being run over, slip or fall.  We all take a risk of hurting ourselves in whatever we do.  Campaigning for the Jury System will take a greater risk because some people naturally oppose change or rocking the boat.  There is nothing we can do for them but to raise their awareness about the benefits of having it.  Do not be antagonistic or arrogant.  Be kind, respectful and understanding.

  • Do you have a Facebook page or YouTube I can share with friends?

Yes, it is https://www.facebook.com/worldwidepji/ and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pypiPqhX-lw&t=362s

  • What is the age requirement for joining WPJI?

You should be at least 18 years old or the voting age.

In 2009, OFW Jury System backers based in USA and Europe founded Philippine Jury International.
